General Information
Welcome to Year 4J
We look forward to the academic year ahead. There will be many learning challenges during the year but with a great attitude and perseverance, we will all succeed together.
No excuses... Homework is important!
Homework
Every Friday, children will receive two or maybe three pieces of homework.
Spellings will also be sent home each Friday.
Homework will usually be Mathematics, English or Science/Topic based, which will link in with the work we have been learning in lessons. We are hoping that this will help consolidate the children's learning.
It is really important that homework is completed and handed in each Wednesday so your performance can be rewarded.
Spelling application will take place during the week.
Your child has been given individual passwords to access our online learning platforms called: 'Showbie' , 'Active Learn', 'Century Tech', TT Rock Stars' and 'Purple Mash'. By using these platforms, your child can develop their independent learning.
We encourage all children to read at least three times a week at home.
P.E. Lessons
Our P.E. lessons will take place every Wednesday and Thursday.
