Our Routines
Each week children will receive homework. Homework will be sent out on Fridays and should be returned the following Wednesday.
The children will take part in P.E. sessions on Wednesday and Thursdays.
Reading
Reading is so important in Year 2, we would love it if you could try to read at home at least 3 times a week. Children can read their own books from home too.
Writing
Developing our handwriting is very important in Year 2. There are lots of practice sheets online to help you to support your child to develop their handwriting skills.
Maths
In Year 2, the children will be learning their 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Any practise at home will be a huge help.
By the end of Year 1, children are expected to be able to read and write these tricky words. Please practise these as much as possible at home so the children are confidently applying these skills in Year 2.
